I will acknowledge the inspiration for the name of this blog to my old friend Nick S. I believe this used to be an email address of his. Obviously, all the clever names I wanted to use as the domain for the blog were taken. I got tired of trying and used the one you see in the browser window. Thank you Nick, I assume you met with the same frustration, which is what led you to that email address.

I am a journalist who is good a procrastinating. I have been working in the news media field for 14 years. I am not a fan of TV news, but I still watch it. I have worked for newspapers, radio, web and TV. I have done other things and always gone back to news, it’s a sort of disease I suppose.
I have another blog at NoasArk.wordpress.com that highlights various news items, usually pertaining to children, their safety and their health, occassionally I rant about something else I come across as well.
I am a divorced, mother of one sweet little girl and I have been rock climbing for over 4 years now. Traveling it a favorite pastime and if I had more time, I would read books again!
